HOW IT WORKS

Victory by Capture

The King is a capturable piece. Take it, and you win on the spot — no check, no warning.

Victory by Conquer

March your King onto the gold-marked back rank. If he stands there unthreatened, it's Royal Invasion — an instant win.

×3

No draws, no loops

Repeating a position a third time is an immediate loss. Stalling is a losing strategy.

THOUGHTS OF THE DESIGNER

Why drawless?

I love chess — but draws always bored me. And the king always struck me as an underwhelming piece: he hides in a corner while his army fights and dies for him. A good king is the one who leads.

So I designed a drawless chess. Same board, same pieces, almost the same game — with a twist. The king is now vulnerable: he can be captured, and in war, a fallen king often means victory. But he finally has a purpose, too. With his allies at his side, he can win the war himself — by marching into the enemy's homeland and claiming it.

Every game ends in blood or in glory, never in a handshake. It gives the oldest game a whole new dynamic.
